"A Common Character Trait
of Top Performers
"
Dear Top Secrets Subscriber,
Last week we discussed the importance of taking consistent action on what we know. This requires something that is rarely discussed in seminars and sales training. In fact, it's a character trait that most people don't think about very often. But it's a trait that is common to all top performers in our industry. The trait is self-discipline.
It takes a lot of self-discipline to buckle down and consistently do what we know we need to do on a daily basis. In fact, it takes a lot of self-discipline just to force ourselves to determine exactly what we need to do on a daily basis.
We all know how important it is to prioritize our actions, but very often we fail to do it. As a result, we end up working on things that don't bring us any closer to our goals.

What is the one, single most important thing you need to accomplish this week? Think about it. I mean really consider it. If you could accomplish just one important thing this week, what would it be? Write it down immediately and begin to think about how you can make it happen. Toss it around in your brain.
